Harry Simpson was a Scottish association football Player who played for East Stirlingshire, Stoke and Forfar Athletic.
Simpson played for his local club East Stirlingshire when in 1889 he moved down to England to play for Stoke along with fellow team mate Billy Dunn. Simpson played in 12 competitive games and scored 3 goals before Returning to Scotland in 1890 to play for Forfar.
Harry Simpson was the uncle of Falkirk F.C. & Blackburn Rovers F.C. footballer Jock Simpson, father of John Simpson who played with Stenhousemuir F.C., and the grandfather of Australia cricket captain Bobby Simpson.
